For optimal integration with Microsoft products and applications such as MSSQL, Sharepoint, Exchange server, and other MS products, we advise a dedicated server with Windows Server 2008. The Windows dedicated servers of Flexservers are particularly interesting for software developers and website builders that use C Sharp or ASP.NET.

Windows Server 2008

Both Microsoft and Flexservers advise you to place at least 2 GB RAM in a dedicated servers running Windows Server 2008. With less RAM we can not give any guarantees on your server performance.

Windows Power Shell. This is the first Windows operating system that makes it possible to manage system administrator tasks for over 120 servers via the command line.
Dynamic Hardware Partitioning. This allows you to give partitions their own share of memory and processor power separately from other partitions.
Available in 32 bits and 64 bits. Currently, not all applications are yet suited to Windows 64 bits. Please make sure you check the compatibility of the applications you wish to run first.
